This 8 character fill-in field can be used for any purpose desired. There is a listbox available should you choose to establish department codes that are meaningful for reporting purposes. Some samples might be SLS, SVC, SURVEY, etc. You can also leave the field blank but since the data in it displays on the ToDo list it makes it a very valuable data field.
