Hot Keys

are individual letter keys that execute certain commands. For example, while viewing a contact record, when you press C, plus C for contact record and you are now in Change mode

Some hot keys perform an action immediately upon your pressing the key, and don't open a menu. The following list describes these keys.

Displays the ActionWare Major Functions menu, which presents a comprehensive list of all alphanumeric key commands

B

Moves you backwards one record in the database sequence

D

Starts the timer when you make a call and displays the elapsed time at the top of the record.

E

Lets you extend the note on the current activity by adding a new paragraph. Same as pressing F9.

F

Moves you forward one record in the database sequence.

H

Stops the timer and requests that you enter a result code for the phone call.

I

Displays statistical information about the current database.

K

Opens the KID menu and displays a list of contacts within a Primary ID. For more information, see the section Child Menu.

L

Lets you add a new note to the current activity. Same as pressing F8.

M

Marks the current record.

N

Lets you edit notes for the current activity

Q

Opens the Quick Activity Finder, which lets you locate activities from a list.

T

Starts the timer when you take a call and displays the elapsed time at the top of the record.

X

Opens the Group Job Menu screen or exits ActionWare

Y

Lets you access a script.

Z

Runs a default script.

If you forget a key command, or you want to review a complete list of alphanumeric key commands: Press ? to open the first screen of the ActionWare Major Functions menu. To see the second screen of commands: Press Enter

You can execute any command described in these screens by pressing the key.

To close the Major Functions list screen: Press: F3
