When explaining activities in this chapter we will use examples of contact records in a database that have been created as follows:
one data layout 1 record for each company that you will have contact with whether that company is a prospect, a customer, a vendor or an internal record. We recommend that you create a data layout 1 record for YOUR company.
a data layout 3 record for every person whom you contact at each company including a contact record for each user at YOUR company.
a data layout 2 record for every project or sales product at a given company and a record for each department using ActionWare at YOUR company. This last record would be used to record minutes and highlights of meetings.
